i liked the discussion about struggle and brat kids.I was almost put in special ed in elementary school because they thought i had an issue (crying all the time...being a brat....idk why dont remember) but my grandad was like hell nah....he'll stop crying when he realized it doesnt work on us, these days i would be on benzo's and meth from a doctor for add or some shit. Example of struggle being needed to a certain extent, I was like 20, swole as shit, my own place, GF, great career starting...everything going well for years..but guys...I was never more confident and had a healthy respect for myself until after i crashed and burned at 26, alcohol, drugs, stripper GF...ended up fired, single, and homeless. not my first or only lesson learned in life but...thank god that happened or I would prolly be dead, in jail, or just still a big pussy POS. I dont think that scenario is needed for everyone but....but some issue when life takes a turn and you have to deal...THAT creates a better person.
